Amazing place to learn about pastry and culinary! They have a very different approach of education. I am currently studying here as a culinary student, still on the basic level, but I’ve learned significant amount of knowledge and skills already. Personally I like how they emphasise on frequent practices, giving just enough tasks for you to learn thoroughly. Chefs are attentive and they are always giving honest comments on your progress so you could improve accordingly. They have a good grasp of being nice and being too nice so you wouldn’t be pampered. The academy will also hold several events to increase both the students and the academy’s exposure. In conclusion, if you are here to learn with passion, you will fit in like a glove. It’s been almost half year studying here and I could only say that my experience here is getting better compared to my basic level. I’ve even learned life lessons that aren’t taught by any schools out there that changed my mindset. Furthermore, the chefs are very generous to always putting extra effort. After a tough and long journey of 9 months in here. I’ve gain more than what’s expected. I didn’t realised that I could do so much in just 9 months time. Thanks to Chef Fauzan, Chef Lim, Ched Deanna, Chef Pui Teng and Chef Foo for their effort to guide me along the way.
